Zoe  Mauki Omoni

Zoe currently works for International Partners in Mission (IPM) as Special Consultant for Uganda and Tanzania. She has a wide experience in legal related issues including International Human Rights, Conflict Analysis, Mediation, Gender, and procedural laws. Zoe previously worked for the Eastern African Sub-regional Support Initiative for the advancement of women based in Kampala, Uganda. She was engaged largely with the Monitoring and Evaluation of the implementation of Dakar and Beijing Platforms for Action in East Africa region with special focus on the advocacy for women’s rights. She was also a Consultant Assistant of CartONG – one of the implementing partners of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees based in Uganda. Additionally, she attended Clinical Law training at Kariwa and Co. Advocates – one of the leading law firms in Tanzania from where her outstanding performances made her retained as the Legal Officer of the firm. Zoe began her studies in Kilimanjaro region - Tanzania and she later on joined the University of Dar es Salaam from where she successfully received her Bachelor of Laws Degree (LLB) with honors. Zoe is Tanzanian, and is married to a Ugandan man. She is a well-rounded and ambitious person, and is dedicated to working in a multicultural environment.
