Take an incredible week-long journey of Salvadoran culture and history as you meet IPM Project Partners in Mejicanos, San Salvador, and Zaragoza. You will be visiting all of the typical sites on an IPM Immersion Experience to El Salvador, but with a particular emphasis on how these activities fit into various models of service-learning curriculums.
Sample activities include:
• Explore rural communities and purchase beautiful items directly from handcraft artisans
• Get to know IPM Project Partners in Armenia, El Zaite, San Ramon, & Zaragoza
• Commemorate the anniversary of the UCA Martyrs
• Discuss the role of human rights in El Salvador with leaders of the Jesuit University of Central America
