Participants will have an incredible 7-day journey experiencing the Salvadoran culture and history meeting IPM Project Partners in Mejicanos, San Salvador, and Zaragoza. While there, they were guided by IPM Staff from Cleveland and El Salvador. By visiting the martyr sites of the civil war and spending time with the children, women, and youth of IPM’s Project Partners, this experience provides a profound understanding of this beautiful country.

Sample activities include:
*Visiting the convent and cancer hospice where Monsignor Romero lived & was assassinated in 1980 in San Salvador
* Spending a morning with IPM Project Partner Lidia Coggiola School, a preschool for children in El Zaite
* Lunch at The Women’s Helath Promotion Training Program Project at Mejicanos
* Visiting IPM’s Project Partner Fundacion Aragon, a primary and secondary school in El Zaite
* Spending an evening at IPM Project Partner Mujer y Comunidad in Zaragoza
* Exploring the Pacific Coast in the beautiful city of La Libertad
