Project Overview:
RIETE demonstration farm (Kisumu, KENYA) became an IPM partner in 2007.  The Franciscan sisters of St. Anna founded RIETE demonstration farm in 2006. The aim of the farm is to set up a demonstration center to offer informal training to the disadvantaged and vulnerable members of the community to enable them gain basic skills in sustainable agriculture. The farm produce will also be used to provide basic necessities for the needy in the community.

Goals for 2008:

To put up farm buildings

To purchase 10 dairy animals, 1000 broilers and 1000 layers, basic equipment, horticulture seeds (e.g. kale, onions, tomatoes)
