Joe Cistone to speak on Refugee Crisis - Tuesday, March 7, 2017

Informed by Joe’s work on behalf of refugees, forced migrants, and internally displaced persons, he will speak to the multi-faith mandate to Welcome the Stranger in the context of the recently revised Executive Order. Joe will also provide an overview of the current refugee reality in Maine and offer concrete action steps to help make MDI a more welcoming community.

Solar Lights for Tanzania - Friday, August 26, 2016

Light For Life – Tanzania

In the Spring of 2016, IPM supported a campaign led by  Revd Peter John Mkengi and Helen Bertles, divinity students at Virginia Theological Seminary  called Light For Life – Tanzania.


Through generous donations, Peter was able to take 100 Luminaid Solar Lights with him on his return to Tanzania. His report follows:
