Global Cleveland and IPM are co-sponsoring Welcome 2 CLE, a reception to welcome IPM's International Visitors to Cleveland. Please join us as we bring together our International Visitors and Northeast Ohio Friends for an evening of sharing global perspectives and IPM's work around the world!

IPM's International Visitors, Project Partners, Regional Staff, and International Executive Board Members, will be traveling to Cleveland from Brazil, El Salvador, Nicaragua & across the U.S., for a series of events including our Annual Awards Luncheon and International Executive Board Meeting. 


Lucila Mercado Ampie, CEPROSI, Nicaragua 

Lucila’s commitment to CEPROSI is inspiring and she is a role model for the women of Nindiri to improve the quality of life for themselves and their families. She is an active leader, social justice advocate, and recognized for her strong commitment to promoting the voices, leadership, empowerment, and participation of women in community development projects..more


Xenia Chevez Juarez, CEPROSI, Nicaragua & IPM International Executive Board

Xenia founded the association CEPROSI composed of Nindiri-Masaya women leaders in the area and together they initiated an organizational base of small economic productive projects, and alliance strategies directed to three rural communities suffering from extreme poverty.  She also initiated a strong associated relationship with IPM and shared efforts which contributed to the strengthening of the life of organized women project and its families...more



 Fatima Guadalupe Rodriguez Pacas, Regional Associate of Latin America & the Caribbean

 Fatima has been involved in the nonprofit sector for several years, which started through volunteering with several organizations including “Youth Outreach for Human Rights” (Unidad Juvenil PDDH)& National Coordinator Pro Youth of El Salvador, which focuses on leadership development training, human rights education, children and youth rights. She has also coordinated the creation and implementation of Education and Health Planning for “Voluntarios Construyendo El Salvador.”

Rodrigo Péret, AFES, Brazil & IPM International Executive Board 

Rodrigo, is a Franciscan Brother, civil engineer and advocate for social and environmental justice. He works to promote environmental justice, around agro-ecology and water issues, but always from the perspective of organizing, with the goal of empowering communities, and AFES is accompanying around 2,000 families struggling for the agrarian reform.
